I had a NI prod refuse to speak to me
in Japan FFS! It was rather comical too, I was at a conference and someone said to me "I just met somebody else from Ireland here, come with me I'll introduce you". I thought, what the hell, I may as well meet this chap. Hilarity ensued, a very pissed off orangeman, very confused Japanese and a really, really over enthusatic me (just to piss him off more).

I met the guy 2 years later and he appologised for being a dick, turned out to be quite a nice fella.
