Prejudice
"Are you prejudiced?" asks StapMyVitals. Have you been a victim of prejudice? Are you a columnist for a popular daily newspaper? Don't bang on about how you never judge people on first impressions - no-one will believe you.

The Japanese
I used to think it was offensive when people did that "Ah so!" Japanese voice, and mixed up their Ls and Rs as a joke.
Had a few Japanese lessons and it turns out the Japanese actually do say Ah so (desu ka), and they do mix up their Ls and Rs as a matter of course.
Is it still racist to do that Japanese impression? I have literally no idea.

Habit.
I've accidentally gotten into the habit of adding desu to anyone who says "ahh sooo" in attempts at lacism. I don't know when it happened. But I've taken to correcting their grammar rather than waggling a finger at the rather 1980's behaviour.
Oddly I find most people respond surprisingly well to learning they do actually, almost, speak a bit of genuine Japanese already :D

Not sure..
..but doing an impression of a little Britain' Ting-Tong then when its pointed out the character is Thai, replying with "yeah its all the same though"... that's a bit racialist.
