lolI'm a reenactor. A Roman reenactor. I've been called a `racist' because of my hobby. Also a `fascist' for the same reason. I've been abused by Keltyky wimmin going on about Boudicca (I usually end up pointing out she died horribly whilst doing my best to act like an evil Imperialist...well...comes with the territory).

Actually....your brother has something there. The Romans probably killed more lions in the arena than Christians. Roman hunting of lions for the arena was largely responsible for the extinction of the European lion in western Europe.
