Premonitions
When I was 14 I had a really scary dream about being run over. A few days later, as I gently bounced off the front of a volvo who seemed incapable of indicating, I found this vaguely reassuring.
Last week 'emadex' managed to respond to this weeks question a good five days ahead of time, so it would only be courteous to ask: What spooky premonitions have you had?

I predicted Princess Diana's death
For a few days before that fateful night in Paris, I had felt edgy and a bit weird, especially in and around cars. I just put it down to starting a new job, and being a bit stressed. On the night of the accident, I woke suddenly at around 1am and I *knew* something was wrong. I was still living with my mum, and I actually went into her room to see if she was okay, because I was convinced that someone was hurt. She was fine, and I got back into bed, thinking "bloody silly daft dreams.."
I couldn't sleep, so I put the TV on. There was Dermot Murgnahan saying that Princess Diana had been involved in a car crash, and early indications were that she'd broken a leg, and bruised her ribs. It was one of those moments where your heart leaps and smacks you in the back of your throat. I was transfixed, and convinced that Di's injuries were a hell of a lot worse than they were letting on. I knew she was dead. I kept trying to rationalise by putting it down to the 'dream' that I must have had that made me think someone was hurt.
I stayed awake watching the news til about 4am, when they finally announced she'd died at about 1am.
I am still freaked when I think about that.
Maybe it's a hereditary thing, because something similar happened to my mum on November 22nd, 1963...
