PremonitionsWhen I was 14 I had a really scary dream about being run over. A few days later, as I gently bounced off the front of a volvo who seemed incapable of indicating, I found this vaguely reassuring.

Paper-WhitesThis just happened today. I was in the bathroom, just walking out, when I smelled the distinct smell of paper-whites in the house. I looked all over the place, trying to find out where they were (that breed of flower's got a special significance to me (don't ask why)), and I couldn't find any. Then, at the dinner table, my mom says to me "oh, Dean, I got some paper-whites. They're in the cabinet in the laundry room". "That explains it," I thought. I go to the laundry room. The paper-whites are still a bunch of odorless bulbs. Not a blossom in the bunch.
