Pretentious bollocksPossibly the worst event I ever went to was an evening of turntablists in London. The lights went down, the first guy put a cymbal onto a turntable, dropped the needle on it and left it making screeching noises for ten minutes.
When the lights came up, half the audience had snuck out.
What's the most pretentious rubbish you've ever been to see in the name of art?

RevolutionaryOnce went to some art thing that had a video of a woman just repeating the words "I am a revolutionary" over and over.
At the same thing I saw a girl walking about with a photo of Che Guevera in her pocket. I asked if it was signed and she looked unimpressed.
The event was saved by a giant painting of David Hasselhoff though so it wasn't all bad.
