Not just bristol
I have seen a bus lane that starts on a roundabout, in such a way that you don't see it until you need to swerve into the inside lane to not go into it.
There is also a piece of bus lane in Guildford which is slightly shorter than a car

the cumberland basin is particularly cuntish.
not even safely navigable at 3am normally, let alone rush hour

Whoever decided that the Tushmore Gyratory need traffic lights
should be strung up from the nearest lamppost.
It is noticable how much better that roundabout works when there's a power cut...

Pah!
I see your Bristol Town Centre and raise you Liverpool City Centre, Unfathomable one way system recently changed, in parts, to both directions thereby confusing people even more? Check. Road works clogging major roads whilst navigating said confusing road system? Check. Tithebarn Street (If you're aware of it you'll know the pain of that one bastard road). Die Liverpool City Centre planners, seriously, die in a rain of hammers and fire.
