in my localof all the "regulars" only 4 people did not smokem, its a rural pub that doesn't do food, the owners smoked and so did everyone who worked there. On the weekend of the smoking ban there was not a single paying customer inside the pub.
Tha barman, followed by bar lady, followed by bar staff stood at the entrance and took orders from everyone sitting outside talking, just as they had sat inside talking for years.
The non-smokers sat outside because it was like the mary fucking celeste inside.
They reckoned that over the entire weekend 2 people actually went to the bar to buy a drink.
