Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

so
yesterday whilst i am juggling urgent files and attending training on law firm management that made the hands on my watch go backwards, staying at work til nearly midnight and then wandering home to a dark, empty flat with nothing but bills on the doorstep.... my former flatmate was flown to las vegas as a surprise, taken in a helicopter over the grand canyon and surprised with a proposal over a champagne brunch.
with an elizabeth duke joke sovereign ring and an appointment in hatton garden to have the real one made.
i am finding it quite difficult to say congratulations on this one. what's made you really bitter recently?!
edit - cheers ladies. i suppose i should say that i am really very happy for her, and she'd better make me a bridesmaid, esp as the wedding will be at st pauls (his parents are MBEs or something). i am just bitter for ME!!!!!

A girl I really really hate from school
and who is one of the few people who, if murder was legal for a day I would seriously contemplate doing in, got engaged, and as I know what a slag she is, I don't think she deserves it.

Yeah, you're happy for her, I know you are
Because you;re a nice person. :)
But if you're anything like me, who has been to two bridal showers and a wedding so far this year and has another 4 on the cards, you'll be a bit peeved, miffed and dare I say bitter. I know I am.
It's good to be happy for other people. It's also perfectly fine to wish that for once it was you...

erm
I'm really sorry but I read the first line as 'juggling flies' and got all excited...
If its any consolation, having my boss keep me constantly late at work mostly by getting distracted from what we're supposed to be doing, by going online and researching her 'cheap' holiday in Florida and moaning that its not that nice (it cost £3k for fuck sake) is making me quite bitter (nah, not bitter, just laffin that she's going to get her butt bitten by cockroaches)
I did make her shut up by saying (nicely!!) that 'cheap' was £30 on a weeks' camping in Wales (as I do with my kiddies)
ANYWAY!! You have the joy that you are the pinup of B3ta...what more could a girlie want!! :-D :-D
