HypochondriaThanks to my massive hypochondria, I've had leukaemia, liver disease, AIDS (twice), cancer (too many times to count), and God knows what else. It's even worse now thanks to the Internet, where you can quickly convince yourself you have anything. The most recent episode was a white spot on my tongue which I KNEW was tongue cancer, but turned out to be nothing. So - tell us your tales of hypochondria!

I thought I had a VD once, when my piss had blood in itbut then I realised I'm just unable to metabolise the colour in beetroot, and also I'm still a virgin.

Hypochondria and self surgeryAdam and Joe did a Text The Nation on self surgery and it was pretty amusing. Dunno if it's been done on here, though.

AB's archive has a section on "medical horseshit" or whatever it's calledI can't remember which QOTW it was, but one in particular had lots of those sorts of stories to offer.
