Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

I spy sillyness
I once saw a lecturer of mine walking along the kerb by themselves trying to balance in much the same way a 5 year old might.
When they noticed me watching it seemed very hard for them to act authoritarian again!
What silly things have you caught people doing?

I can top a Lecturer...
How about the Strategic Director of a well known distance-learning University (hint: it's not closed) wearing a pirate hat and waving a cutlass from his open-topped MG on the way to see the second Pirates of The Carribean film.
This man controls the academic fate of thousands and the finances of a huge institution...bless him!
