Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

gravity
my mate's dad tried to tell me that it is the air pressure that keeps us on the ground, not the force of gravity that is determined by the mass of the Earth.
He refused to explain how Neil Armstrong and friends managed to walk about on the moon if there's no air.

The other day
I told my class that when I was little I had to walk 15 miles to school and 20 miles home and it was up hill both ways.
They believed me.
