It's your wedding.Your big day. So do what the hell YOU want to do and don't invite anyone who doesn't like it.
Alternatively, do what we did and fuck off somewhere with a small contingent of people and then have a big party when you get back.

Seriously tempted.Sadly, I am set on getting married in the parish church in my village, which rather puts a block on buggering off.
