This is a question World of Random

There's a pile of scrap timber, rubble and general turds in the road opposite my work with a hand-written sign reading "Free Shed". Tell us about random, completely hatstand stuff and people you've seen

Jesus, If you are ever visiting the Sea Zoo on Anglesey and want to play on their mini-golf course. TAKE NOTE:

Seriously, I am off to Snowdonia
for the week and the other half wants to go to the sea zoo, so I am gonna get me a matching photo.

When you pull up in the car park there is a playground and mini-golf bit on the left.
It's on the side closest to the car park, there is a little tiny bridge and it's beside there.
Also Halen Mon is right next door (the sea salt factory), go buy delicious salty related things.

I have family on Anglesey so go at least once a year.
If you want somewhere else to go, try the Pili Palas (Butterfly palace), the other side of Menai. Lots of butterflies, snakes, spiders, terrapins, chipmunks, rabbits etc. I had my photo taken with a Tarantula there.

Also, if you get the chance there is a beautiful little town called beddgelert not far from Snowdonia, lovely place to visit. The missus will love it.

Thank you
I am literally running out of the office to get a train to Liverpool in 32 minutes time (Beatles Museum tomorrow) and then we are heading down to a cottage for a week on Saturday, so I have just made scribbled notes of everything you've just said.

My review is the bottom one.

Don't bother going to holyhead, it's a shithole. Go to Beaumaris though. Lovely little high street, beach and Castle.
Take a trip to Conwy Castle. Across the road there is a shop that sells swords/armour/etc

And also the smallest house in Britain with a woman dressed up in traditional welsh outfit.

Also plan to do the walk that Julia Bradbury did across the Mawwbech Estuary.

Ooh. I've not heard of that. Sounds interesting.
If you go round the other side of Snowdonia there is a path. The Watkin path.
You go up past some waterfalls and pools, up to a plateau where a Prime Minister gave a speech, and along to some ruined miners houses. There is a small graveyard with unmarked slate headstones. Though if you want to carry on to the top it's pretty tough going after that.

The Watkin path is a bitch.
Go from Rhyd-Ddu, it's easier and usually quieter.

If you're up for a bit of a challenge go up Craig-y-Llan from Beddgelert and see if you can beat the record.

It stands at about 13 and a half minutes.

Up and down.

I'm from Beddgelert
and I can vouch for the fact that whilst it's lovely in the summer, it's a fucking seriously depressing place to be stuck when it's pissing it down on a Sunday in February.
