When were you last really scared?We'd been watching the Shining. We were staying in an old church building. In hindsight, taking the shortcut home after midnight, in the mist, through the old graveyard was a bad idea.
I'm not sure what started it, but suddenly all the hairs on my neck had gone up and I was crapping myself. It was almost as bad as when, after a few cups of coffee too many and buzzing on caffeine, I got freaked out by my own reflection in the toilets.

I killed baby jesusThere are some really crap groups on facebook (its myspace with stalker feed) and I came across the group "I support the right to choose one element from each set in a collection". This is about the axiom of choice, a somewhat disputed notion on the axioms of set theory. Some people can't accept it, some people can; I do because it's useful.
However, reading the messages on the 'wall' made it clear that I really shouldn't believe in it. The guy's conviction scares me.
