three regrets. one churlish, one is a sort of regret and the last is serious.

first regret happened years ago. it was in the days of first love so that prolly makes me around 11 or 12. i'd fancied this girl at school called nicola burns - i'd even written 'lh 4 nb' on my bedroom wall. anyhoo - at the school roller disco the mates and i were zipping around and faling over. then comes the 'slow dance' which was basically an excuse for the teachers to embarrass us all by making us hold hands with a member of the opposite sex. nicola chooses me over everyone else and i run and hide. or rather roll and hide. because i fancied her. i ended up skating round with some freak and watching her skate round and round holding the hand of a rival. she changed schools not long after that and i never saw or heard from her again. shame.

second one is breaking my jaw whilst drunk and car surfing. spent a week in hospital, lost several teeth and a lot of dignity. it did however make me realise that i'd fallen in love with the woman who is now my wife. took us a while longer to get together tho.

third regret is my affair last year. very nearly ended the best thing in my life and i still don't know why i did it. things aren't so much 'back to normal' as 'better than ever'! so, i'm quite happy with how that turned out even tho i was a gnats pube away from fucking things up cata-fucking-gorically.
