My Greatest RegretsWhen I was still quite young, I was offered the chance to spend several weeks in the South of France. My Uncle was going to drive me down in his vintage MG sports car. There would be sun, sand and, crucially, French girls.
I was too scared of the French girls to go.
What do you regret not doing?

taking the nuns at junior school seriouslywhen they told us we should get a briefcase as a schoolbag for senior school.
aged 11, my best friend and i turned up at a huge new school full of cool kids. with our socks pulled up and clutching identical briefcases.
we never lived it down. and i mean, never.
