This is a question Social Media Meltdowns

Ever said something you've regretted on the internet? Seen somebody make an arse of themselves? Know somebody who posts first and asks questions later? Dob them in to us, the internet police. (We last did this five years ago before Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook really took off, so now's the time for an update)

Thanks to Benny Blanco from the Bronx for the suggestion

No one said utopia :)
But a lot more would be possible if decisions were made by experts in their fields as opposed to media conscious politicians.

So, a technocracy, then?
By automation, I assumed that you meant an end to labour which, whilst a noble idea in theory, would probably lead to widespread civil unrest.

not quite
An end to labour that can be automated. People would be educated in more "noble" sciences. Any kind of a transition to it (were it ever to happen) would have to be well planned out and guided by the scientific method. I don't think that the Venus project is the organisation to deliver this.

Nothing can be completely automated.
Until machines that can think are invented, you will always need some form of human control over a process.

I'd start by rounding up all the naysayers.

Yes
You probably would.

When you put it like that, I'd rather take my chances on Rape Island, and I'm very pretty
