Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

The one thing that really gets me on Facebookis people who don't seem to realise that the "is" isn't mandatory in their status any more: "Sammy is thinking that blah blah blah" - nine times out of ten the present continuous tense is no longer necessary!
Oh, and I get a perverse pleasure from denying friend requests from people who hated me in school: you used to tell me no one would ever want me, ever - what makes you think I give a rat's arse about what you're up to?

It certainly is!Although the ones I have to do that to are the ones who usually have escaped the block button because I hadn't found them. They get blocked right after.
