This is a question Social Networking Gaffes

Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.

Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

RONG
The new design is much better than the old one, and all the people bitching about it have no concept of what makes a website or UI good; indeed, they are purely change-resistant luddites.

The new design finally uses a reasonable amount of the screen, the profile content is all sensibly divided, if you're looking for something specific it is easier to find due to said division along with the new filter controls and increased consistency. Thankfully, all the millions of applications all the retards install are also hidden from view rather than creating a myspace esq clutter.
