Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

Agree 100%I haven't thrown a proper sicky since being in this job, but if I did, I certainly wouldn't risk being caught by posting on FB! I'd stay at home, with the curtains drawn, playing offline computer games ;)

hmmWay back I had a colleague who threw a long-term sickie. She was discovered when her boss, who like the odd flutter on the gee-gees went to the bookie at lunchtime.
To find her working behind the counter.
She was sacked.
