Given the levels of anguish reached by Thursday afternoon......I wonder if a full-blown revolution would start if a new QOTW did not appear.

But that would be short lived. Anarchy would reign supreme and there would be pitched battles in the streets between the forces of qotw and those of /talk. Well, that is if /talk people actually ever go outside, which I doubt they do.
