Janet Fielding (Tegan from Dr. Who)Part of the reason why Peter Davison is still my favourite Doctor Who - despite the iffy stories and shonky effects of that era - is because of his assistant.
I was eleven when I first clapped eyes on Tegan. Full of raging hormones (me, not her). There was something about that buxom, short-haired Australian brunette with the sarky attitude that turned a switch on in my head. From that moment, girls ceased to be annoying alien life-forms and started to be mysterious, intoxicating creatures. With shirt-potatoes!
