Oh jesus yes,I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, it was horrific. I can only imagine what it'd be like to watch it as a child in the 80s

Yeah, I watched it about a year ago.Being mid twenties, I don't have much recollection of the cold war yet it was still fucking scary.
That film made me decide if there is a nuclear war, I'm praying to be in the initial blast zone.
