red sack is one of the banes of living in the tropics. In all the wars ever fought in all the wars more time off was had by soldiers with Tinea than anything else..including being shot. Dont fuck about with it and try stupid old wives tales like bathing your bollocks in vinegar etc etc. It is a live fungal bacteria so rubbing canestan on the surface will not stop it growing inside your balls. You need a two pronged attack, use Nizral cream with the active ingredient of Ketaconozole on your nuts and take four Sporanock tablets every day for a week and your red sack will dissapear...apparently

It is Fungal that means it is topical ( surface only) unless it makes its way into the mouth , nose,vagina or the urethra opening at willy end if you are a bloke or the tradesmans entrance.
Any of those you are in deep doodo as it causes secondary infections, bacteria come in later to feast on the raw skin and open sores. same as if it takes hold outside.

The classic treatment for fungal infections that works every time is the 100+ year old one, Condy`s crystals ( potassium permanganate). If your local chemist thinks you are adult and smart enough to be aware of how dangerous it is in the hands of the not bright ( you can turn yourself brown, get burned....,) and how to use it they may sell you it.
you need about 3mm squared on the back of say a spoon and fill a bath, it should still look only slightly pink and wash it round, neat crystals it will burn a plastic bath to white
get in it scrub yourself, don`t use soap until you`ve youve given all the affected areas a good rub underwater then soap your balls, with Houshold soap ! or pears or simple....

This works but it drys the skin so you need nappy cream or psuedocrem is better for skin dryness 2-3 days works but 5+ advised if any has gone into clothing and you only wash at 40C

I worked in a place that sent me all round the world to Africa etc in combat zones without a hotel, and if you get all sorts , anywhere this kills them all. ( also good for athletes foot, ringworm, anything fungal) Just be bloody careful to use just a little and add, they now put full instructions on the jar and that is a bit frightening if you use it first time. It wont kill you but it will kill off all skin friendly bacteria if you overdo it and itchy time.

My uncle was out in Malaya and god knows where ese OHMS and I first went went to africa, got the middle of no-where job and he advised me things that made me think, all no messing with modern gentle stuff, a bit kill or cure and it all pans out.
