ADSL FaultsIf you are having an issue with an ADSL connection try removing the power from your modem/router for 10 minutes before connecting it all back up again. This will fix at least 90% of problems, guarenteed.
Oh, and if you are unable to do the most simple computer-based tasks and generally have no clue as to the operation of your "slightly out-of-date" Windows 98 machine there is a group of similarly minded people you may be interested in joining, you can find their website and how to join them here

m...also in some cases, when you remove an USB device by the fastest safe way (deactivating it before removing it), the ADSL shuts down... if that happens, try to restart the computer, then login again. it's almost 100% sure it will work! :D
