No problem to cure hiccup after all. You clearly need someone to shock you. I tested this in a primary school's 4th grade by sneaking to the boy who hiccuped. A medium shout-and-shake almost sent him to coma (as well as the other 23 pupils), but cured his hiccup right away.

Length? 15 min. until the class was ready to work again, some girls fought with tears. Didn't repeat that trick so far...
