This made me laugh
A while ago I was accosted in the supermaket my an old guy who was looking for a particular brand of beans, but basically just wanted to talk to someone. He told me how he lived in Spain, but came over twice a year to buy stuff for him and his friends that you just can't get over there. He rounded it off with "I'm 75 and I still travel around regularly".
I managed to make my excuses to continue with my shopping, turned around, only to be confronted by a sour old woman. She wouldn't let me pass, then said in a rather annoyed tone "75? I'm 83!" as if he'd offended her in some way.
