I do remember......jocular late-20th-century sketch-show stalwart Russ Abbot spoofing the advert on an episode of his Madhouse. He was in character as inept spy Basildon Bond, at home with a glamorous lady. He offers her a coffee, saunters into the kitchen and is immediately attacked by a henchmen who attempts to strangle him.
After a few seconds of coughing, gasping, struggling and spluttering, the lady calls out from the lounge "It's OK, I don't mind instant"
...And yet I still forget my parents' birthdays.
