Don't let a bag of carrots fall off the back of a pull-out larder thingy. By the time you realise where the smell's coming from, it will have turned into a bag of putrid black liquid.

I've left potatoes in cupboards before. I think if you don't introduce any flies, they just sprout. And sprout....and sprout...and sprout..
