Usually they will have traversed more then one station on their way to their destination
Now , consider, the doors opening miraculuously without pushing the magic button takes how many stations reinforcement for the really unobservant and dim to apprehend?

Try other country`s metros, I have no or few problems, even the ones I couldn`t read the signs cos not my alphabet. Use a bit of commonsense.

Unfortunately I have also never done a less than two stop with no-one else getting off to take a guide from so I cannot honestly empathise, as I have never experienced this.
But there is a very slim possibility that these "lucky , " special" people fell into that very rare category.

Perhaps? Or am I being too kind?
