I had to read The Monstrous Feminine at uniDon't bother - it's awful, men-hating bollocks, but the cover is interesting:
Almost everyone I encountered or showed it to fell into one of two categories, which was divided almost exactly down the line of their gender - men: "Meh. So anyway - fancy a beer?" women: "Oh that's disgusting."
The phenomenon was really quite interesting, I thought.
