dear me if people are going to say bad things about stuff like this , then at least make an effort to watch it first so you know what you are actually posting about.
I feel so let down with what looked like a promising rant that ultimately turned into a dogs turd of a statement with no substance or indeed proper or correct vitriol, so please if you are going to try this approach again i would recommend first that you turn on the tv and sit and watch the program you are going to rant about , then throw in some choice remarks about how the fans are morons and have nothing better to do with there time unlike say for example oh let me see star wars.
Now galaxy quest was a prime example of a film taking it self to serously but also playing on the fans passion/obsession for cosplay and all the little things that go with it it didnt take it self seriously to the point of being say WoW convention or the like but cleverly turned it around so the actors were the ones being laughed at because they tried to be some thing that the fans wanted them to be even though they could never be them and the final delicious irony was that even the space aliens got taken in by a a boring out dated formulaic
scifi series that wasnt
but sigorny weaver was hot in it
