Oh I could,
I've spent a lot of time on dchurch's old site and it's amazing what you can pull off.
Not only could I pursue them over harrassment, but also serve them a S.10 of the Data Protection Act notice which forces them to stop using my data.

I had something like this once, they were called "The Restaurant People"
and they called, emailled and even posted me a constant deluge of crap, somehow unable to take my details off their database when I called them on it and explained that I'm a web developer, and that I have no interest working "silver service" or indeed any other kind of service.

Ultimately I googled their site and found some girl who was listed as their "Data Protection Officer". Foolishly, she had put up her personal mobile number on the website, so henceforth, every time I was contacted by the cunting Restaurant People, I called her on her mobile and either left a lengthy message about how she should look at removing my details from their database or told her point blank that not only was I going to call her every time I got a call, text, email or letter, but that as "Data Protection Officer" she really shouldn't have published her personal mobile number on the company's website.

I've just googled them and I don't think they exist any more.

Nope, they still exist.
Or, at least, some bunch of charlatans with that name still exists.

The cafeteria at work recently went out to tender. Compass got it, but Restaurant People was one of the bidders, so I was told.
