This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

Tomb Raider
I have bought and played every single Tomb Raider game that has been released for PS1 and PS2. I think that's about seven or eight.

I have never, ever finished a single fucking one of them. I can do the puzzles, I can do the acrobatics. It's just the shoot-em-up parts I can't do. I don't have the dexterity for it. and I panic if I see scary things heading towards me at speed.

I swear a lot when I play Tomb raider.

When I first played TR1 12 years ago
it was fantastic and exciting, jumping about and trying to shoot that big dinosaur. Mrs Sandettie was very animated and would be jumping about behind me with shrieks of "Look, it's there, quick it's coming back from the left." and so on.

I put it on just the other day for old times' sake. It was actually quite difficult to see where the edges of things were because of the blocky textures. She ran really slow and that T Rex took 2 shotgun hits and a couple from the pistols.

Yes.
I have exactly that problem, there's a lot of pausing while the tiger is still midair and I hyperventilate for a few seconds. The same goes for Bioshock.

Tell me about it
Brilliant yet bloody annoying game. Sounds like if I had your puzzle solving skills and you had a bit of my shoot-em-up prowess we'd probably get close to finishing the mo effers. *click*

BTW Don't get me started on Half Life...

The rest are still on hold!
