Irish scientists first developed a way of mixing alcohol and cream in 1974, with Baileys being the first "Irish cream" to be launched (on 26th November 1974). Today, one third of all cows' milk produced in Eire is used in the production of Irish creams.
Also Guiness is the number one alcoholic drink in both Nigeria and Malaysia.
