Honey...Contrary to another post here, honey does go off. I've had it happen to me. However, it takes about a year and a half for unpasteurized honey to go bad at room temperature. That's how long it takes the natural fungicide to break down. After that point, it can get mouldy.
I'll call this useless information, because (apart from lazy meadmakers like me) who has honey in storage for a year and a half?
