
I once paid a small fortune to a solicitor in a legal case. She got lost on the way to court, turned up late with the wrong papers and started an argument with the judge, who told her to "shut up, for the love of God". A stunning investment.

if you're pulled over and have no insurance, you lose your license. Driving without insurance is illegal, which is a bit annoying.

Doesn't stop 5% of the car-driving population doing it, though.
Think about that when you're next driving - one in 20 of the cars you can see ain't covered if it hits you. They're the ones more likely to hit something, possibly you, too.
