This is a question Workplace Boredom

There's got to be more to your working day than loafing around the internet, says tfi049113. How do you fill those long, empty desperate hours?

If you have a the internet at work...
And a computer at home you'd like to dip in to go to logmein.com and setup a free account. Install the free software on your home computer then at work log in to the site and you can then use your home computer remotely while you're at work.

It's actually super easy and you don't have to install any software on the work computer.

I check on any downloads, organise my files and potter about on my home PC while at work. I've also put the free software on my familys computers so I can dip in and help them when needed.

Other than that the internet in general helps kill my boredom at work.

Want to get logmein working? I can't even get gifs to animate on this piece of shit ffs.

PS when it did work one of the guys in the office did this. 2nd best answer to teh week that was, woop.

gotomypc.com is much better
Plus it's run by Citrix, who pretty much invented this sort of thing.

Good one!
I use logmein in the same way you do, except once - set up a webcam and speakers on your machine at home, with the camera facing the stairs. Play music at awesome volume. Watch mum come up the stairs to find out whats going on. Stop music. Wait for mum to disappear, play music again. And so on :P
