I couldnever see the attraction with them. Piss poor Beatles cover band with the exception that by the end, the Beatles could play their instruments.
When an Oasis song has a guitar 'break' in it, I think it sounds like someone who got a guitar for Christmas and has read "Play in a day" by Bert Weedon and thought "That's enough, one day should cover it".
Makes my ears bleed, with the exception of Wonderwall, which was ok-ish but nothing to write home about and the god-awful sounding singing is enough to make anyone ashamed that they ever listened to it.
