Worst Band Ever
If I was in charge of the B3ta fatwa department, we wouldn't be hearing too much from Simply Red in the future. Who's on your musical shit list and why?

One of my lecturers recorded the sex pistols once
and the way he tells it you just had to be there. He said it was all so different he once told me they walked in to the studio, plugged in, thrashed out the set and then packed up. He couldn't believe that they were just happy with the recording based on them being happy with how they played it the once. We all questioned the amateurish shit they created and he explained that there were simply a lot of angsty young teens crying out for something different. That hasn't changed, my generation had grunge and the kids today have emo. Personally I think the kids that got the sex pistols were the lucky ones.

On 'Never Mind the Bollocks'
there are literally hundreds of guitar overdubs, and apart from Sid Vicious they could play their instruments just fine. The whole 'anyone can learn three chords and be a punk band' thing is technically true, but when you think how few bands got anywhere it's clear it isn't easy at all.
