I find it best to imagine people in only their socks
it takes all fear away, I have sung on stage more times than I have eaten hot dinners but I agree it is scarey and even scarier now I am older.

It's subconcious.
I think it's just that I'm not used to singing on stage. I get a bit teary thinking of singing infront of people, and nervous anyway.

I've been on stage dancing/acting since I was 3. That doesn't bother me at all, other than stagefright that everyone gets. e.g. "OMG I CAN'T REMEMBER MY LINES WAIT HOW DOES IT GO YES I CAN DO THIS BUT AAAH I HOPE I DON'T SCREW UP"

'Cause acting is covering stuff up, singing is more from the heart.

I sang at York Minster when I was a nipper
There were people, faahsands of 'em. It was a right laugh and it's on a record somewhere
