good idea
but falls down a tad when growing weed at the bottom of your garden in a coldframe :)

If people grow it for themselves I dont take issue.
Its the drug dealing issue that bothers me , as it can easily be used to manioulate people and the reasons Donkey said.

and obviously , I am against drugs anyway.

yes, i know.

This.
Although I wouldn't quite describe myself as "against drugs". I just wouldn't use them personally.

Depends on the drug.
I think weed is great for prescribed reasons.

I think its a terrible thing to use recreationly.

EDIT: Because the medical arguments against it.

Opposition: There is no proof!
Me: there are statistical links

Why?

(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:10, archived)
Why is it terrible recreationally?

Why, Delilah ?

DELILAH!

I think even pescribed, it can do a lot of damnage.
It's best they get whatever chemicals they want from it, rather than just give pure weed.

with most medications there are side effects and long term risks.
I think it is worth it seeing as the treatment is instant and often makes a huge diffrance for the better to some people and the side affects are not always strong and are worth (in most cases) the prior releive.
(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:18, archived)
Well, i'm just talking about my personal experiance when I say this, but as a painkiller, it pretty much sucks compaired to other forms of opients.
And it doesn't do much good for mental issues, like depression, eaither.

There are side effects and long term risks with alcohol, cigarettes, cakes, and skateboards.
You don't ban those. You let people make their own choices and be responsible for themselves.

I agree.
But the pshycological effects of weed concern me far more than liver damage.

I also dont agree with smoking , watching it kill two relatives secured that one.

Alcohol has horrible psychological effects on alcohol addicts.

(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:31, archived)
Why?

(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:16, archived)
It's no different to enjoying a drink.

(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:16, archived)
Except it tastes shit.

(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:18, archived)
There are far better medical arguments against alcohol.
The recent press yapping about weed being massively stronger than it was a few decades ago is, incidentally, claptrap.

Thanks for link.
My views are formed from personal experiance and all information available to me , I always welcome further credible info.

I dont try to impose my views on others , unless it is effecting me directly.
(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:34, archived)
To be fair, I've only inferred this
but you seem to be in favour of most recreational drugs being illegal. What is that if it isn't imposing your views on others?

For that matter, what is having any moral or legal opinions at all?
(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:38, archived)
Yeah. Fucking greengrocers manipulating me just because I can't grow my own bananas.
BASTARDS. ABSOLUTE BASTARDS.

I really didn't take you for quite such a pinko.
(, Thu 22 Nov 2007, 14:08, archived)
So can anything else.
Try going a whole day without funding evil, if you're going to define it as buying something from someone who buys something from someone who does evil. It's not easy, legally or illegally.

Ah if thats all it is I don't give 2 shits :)

Sounded like she was boasting a fucking £3 million coke collection.
