I'm not particularly keen on any of the Simpsons.
The early ones, which everyone attests were funny, are too poorly drawn/animated to be enjoyable.

..but classics such as Homer getting his head stuck in between two sides of a moving bridge.

are a good yardstick.

although a few after series 10 were really good.

I used to think it was clever (jokes only those moderately educated and above would get)
