8mb graphics memory =

ohhhhhhhhhhhh Vienna

What system are you using.
Because both of those cards are PCI-E. And that is integrated graphics from a long time ago.

First problem with this, even if it's got a slot for a graphics card, it'll be AGP and therefore render both of those cards pointless.
(, Sat 27 Dec 2008, 1:13, archived)
it is definitely PCI-E
and it is also 8mb for the onboard graphics (or did i read the bios wrong? it said either 1mb or 8mb (default is 8mb))

Dear god
What PC did you buy in the last 3 years with 8mb integrated graphics?

Seriously, either will be fine if you can almost cope with what you're running now. Don't worry about it, get the cheapest.

haven't tried anything graphics-heavy yet
but will need to soon...

and how much difference is there between a £40 card with 512mb, and a £100 card with 512mb?
(, Sat 27 Dec 2008, 1:29, archived)
Somebody please answer this because I'd also like to know.

£60

I don't know.
How much difference is there between a £10,000 car with a 2.0 engine and a £30,000 car with a 2.0 engine.

Lots!

But only if you're using it on a race track, if all you want to do is drive to asda, they'll both do.
