Fucking miserable
really really fucking miserable. And it's one of those miseries that you can't see the end of.

Work
My boss has pressed ahead with the implementation and go live over the weekend of a system that has been a year in the making and based on the evidence of the last 100 hours or so just has not been fully or properly tested. Last Thursday the project manager went on sick leave due to the stress of it. Which basically means it's given to me, and while my boss is around and has been onsite with me all day today it will be me who is going to get asked all those awkward questions, and the snide remarks, tomorrow when it slowly all comes apart at the seams and I have to make the decision (for a second time) to turn it all off.

I feel your pain, we have a similar problem quite often at work
even though you'll get all the awkward questions, just remember it's not your fault. Your manager should quickly see that it's not ready and needs proper testing, every time a client complains.

He won't
the project has been a nightmare since day 1, he just had his eyes on money rather than a decent system and it had to go in this week otherwise they would have shelved it. As I told him on Friday, let them and we can fuck off and concentrate on companies who aren't cunts.
