I'm in work at ten today.
This makes me :( because I don't usually start til 2 at the earliest, and I'm working both my days off.

Not really days of are they? ):
Today is my last day at work for this week. tomorrow is sorting house day. friday is doctors, dentist, optician.

I hope you're getting paid lots of lovely money for all this work.

It's only usual rate.
I'm not working Saturday, but that's moving day, so even if I'm not working I'll be shifting heavy boxes and furniture. This is not a good thing.

Oh well, beer tokens.

How did they convince you to work your day off?
If I'm down for holiday, nothing will make me come into work, save a REALLY BIG emergency and I'm the ONLY PERSON who can fix it.

Also:
You shouldn't be the one to pay for their inadequacies in managing a team. If there aren't enough people to staff that day, who actually gave them all holiday? If people have walked out, why haven't you hired anyone new?

This man speaks sense in large volumes.
Tell them to fuck off, Bats.

There is a culture in this country, and in America too, of guilting people into doing work
I've seen people become overly stressed due to their work load, and staying after work for hours at a time. This shouldn't happen because there is clearly a deficiency in staffing.

have you seen office space?
there's a lot of this kind of behaviour in that.

don't mean to trivialise the situation, it's a good film.
maybe trashing a printer with a baseball bat is the solution!
