I've added it to the filter anyway.

Which filter would that be?

I'm working on a Greasemonkey script for b3ta that filters out moronic or over-used phrases and replaces them with more eloquent alternatives.

where does it get the alternatives from?

Me.
There's one array of flagged phrases and another one of suitable replacements; there's a one-to-one correspondence between the elements of each.

With the over-used ones, it will choose one out of several replacements.

This is going to be a fantastic script.

Even in its early form, it's already making b3ta much funnier and readable.
No more AOL- or 4chan-speak. No more "shit", "dull" or "bitter" on /talk. No more "should of".

It's so effective that this post is now full of red text.

I might try this one.

I see.
Sorry, I tend to ignore sigs.
