An airport
Of course, cheap flights are one of the scourges of modern life, creating the concept that spending two hours in a tiled barn sitting on seats more uncomfortable than the ones at primary school, followed up by a few hours in a metal tube with all the other mouth-breathers, before landing in an equally bland terminal, all the while scrutinised, patronised and thoroughly debased by anyone the least bit official, counts as some sort of adventure that we should all do more often or be frowned upon as xenophobic.

In summary, cheap flights are for twats.

I'm taking a boat next time I travel overseas.

(, Mon 18 May 2009, 18:17, archived)
will it fit on the plane?

Don't get caught
Foreign jails can be tough
and in muslim countries they'll cut your hand off

But you're flying
TAKE THAT GRAVITY

Then do it properly
even pigeons don't have to pay to be squeezed against some bestenched sweating porker who can't even sip their coffee without sounding like a motorised drain cleaner. That's how low humans have become.

I think somebody needs a hug.

WooooOOOoo
IN THE AIR

Fair enough
I'll have the yacht made ready.

Why go anywhere at all?
Is your life so empty that you think a week in Alicante getting skin cancer and food poisoning will somehow make you a wiser person with a richer life experience?

Pipe down
you patronising prick.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 18:22, archived)
It's not patronising if you really are this worthless

You're starting to sound like a very low-rent version of the magnificent Bud.
I think you definitely need a hug.

My boundless love of life prevents me from hugging anyone
in case I crush their ribcage to splinters out of pure joy

Keep staring at the pixels
I'm confident of your ability to judge someone's character.

Experience different cultures, try new food and drink, new experiences, visting friends or family, getting time away from work
etc
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 18:23, archived)
apart from the last two
that's pretty much all bullshit.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 18:24, archived)
Maybe for you.
Trying the local food and drink is one of the main reasons I visit new places.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 18:26, archived)
I haven't felt the need to go abroad for about 8 years,
and it wasn't even my idea the last time.
That's how full my life is.

I don't think anyone books flights, cheap or otherwise, for the fun of the airport.
