hmm, god I hate firefox at the mo
its a bag of shit getting. Crashing all the time, grr. I would try chrome, see if thats better? (thought the beeb should fix it)

flash and a javascript library to load the flash
Its a pretty robust bit of kit and I would suggest it might be something on your end. Like the version of flash.
